Wigan Athletic Sunday Supplement - 07/03/10

Welcome to this edition of the Sunday Supplement, a good day to relax, why not just chill for a while in front of your PC with all the Latics news, views and gossip that you could hope for right here on Vital Wigan.

No game this weekend as we have the Monday night ESPN game to look forward to against Liverpool at the DW Stadium, what it does mean though is that some of our rivals down at the bottom have already played this week and with Burnley and Wolves both losing we are in the same position now that we were before this round of fixtures.

This week has seen an historical meeting between Latics boss Roberto Martinez and the Latics independent fans sites, I was there representing Vital Wigan and I can report that it was fascinating, informative, interesting and very inspirational, why not take a look at the articles covering the meeting.

There were a spate of internationals in midweek and quite a few Latics players were involved in these but jumping out as the most exciting news of international week was Latics youngster James McCarthy making his full international debut for the Republic of Ireland against Brazil, McCarthy appears to be a player destined top be a great.
