Wigan Athletic produced a good result beating Liverpool 1-0 to give a little breathing space between themselves and the bottom three as the win moved the Latics up to 14th in the Premier League and four points above the relegation spots.
A great team performance just when one was needed, from the front to the back everyone had their part to play as the Latics got back to winning ways at the DW Stadium but the star performer for me was in the heart of the midfield, Momo Diame, he was simply superb and had probably his best game in a Wigan Athletic shirt.
