N'Zogbia Delighted With Effort

Wigan Athletic star performer Charles N`Zogbia was delighted that the Latics finally got back to winning ways with the 1-0 victory over Liverpool on Monday night and he says it was a great team performance.

Speaking to the clubs official website the 23 year old says that one of the most pleasing aspects of the game was keeping a clean sheet which gave the Latics the platform to build the win on.

N`Zogbia said that keeping the lead intact was all about the work the players put in off the ball and now he hopes the club can build on this, N`Zogbia said: 'Everyone's delighted to have won the game and claimed all three points. It was a massive win and to do it over a club like Liverpool will give everyone a boost going into final games of the season

'We've all got to keep working hard, stick together and take this form into the upcoming games.

'It was a great team performance on the night and we know what we have to do going forward now.

'Keeping hold of the lead was a big positive and showed that sometimes it's not all about the football you play with the ball, you have to work hard defending your lead and we did that very well.'
