Latics Res 5-0 Burnley Res

Wigan Athletic reserves kept the feel good factor at the club high with an impressive 5-0 victory over Burnley at the Robin Park Arena in a Barclays Premier Reserve League North game

Graham Barrows side stormed into a 3-0 first half lead with goals from Rachid Bouaouzan on 14 minutes following a lay off from Jon Routledge, Callum McManaman made it 2-0 on 18 minutes when his shot took a wicked deflection to beat the Burnley keeper and then right on half time Tomasz Cywka made it 3-0 with his goal set up by fellow countryman Tomasz Kupisz.

Joe Holt made it 4-0 to the Latics on 55 minutes with a lovely strike into the bottom corner from 25 yards, McManaman got his second of the evening and Latics 5th when he slotted home from 15 yards on 66 minutes.

All in all a good display from the young Latics reserves and a bit of heart as they enter the latter part of their season.
