Lawro Predicts - Bolton Vs Latics

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that the game between Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic at the Reebok Stadium will end in a home win for Bolton, lets see what his reasons are:

Bolton Vs Wigan

I was at the DW Stadium on Monday for Wigan's 1-0 win over Liverpool and the Latics were fully deserving of their victory. Yes, Liverpool were poor but Wigan contributed to that by playing so well. The only problem for them is their consistency. They have had stand-out results this season but in the next game they have capitulated.

Bolton gained a good victory at West Ham last Saturday, winning 2-1, but got beat 4-0 at Sunderland midweek. However, at home they are a strong side and that advantage should see them win this one. Wigan are a big, strong, athletic team and Bolton, for all their physical threat, won't push them over but too often to the detriment of the Athletic team, some individuals indulge themselves and it has proven costly on occasion.

Prediction: 2-1

I don`t see it quite that way Lawro, Bolton have a few injury and suspension problems and their 'good victory` at West Ham was wiped out by their falling apart at Sunderland, I was going to go for the draw here but as the week`s worn on I have grown more confident and I believe we will get a second clean sheet on the bounce, 0-2 Latics win
