Latics Expect Largest Away Following Of The Season

Wigan Athletic are expecting their biggest away following of the season for the short trip to Horwich tomorrow to face our close neighbours Bolton Wanderers.

Monday nights win against Liverpool appears to have captured the imagination of Latics fans and now the supporters want to show their support for Roberto Martinez and his team by getting behind them at the Reebok Stadium.

It is very close down at the bottom of the Premier League at the moment and with both the Latics and Bolton in the thick of it a win for either side would put them in a really strong position for the remaining nine games.

A good support can often make the difference and lift the players so with an exodus heading up through Whelley, New Springs, Aspull and Blackrod tomorrow the Latics players should feel suitably elevated by their fans.
