Everton And Bolton Chase AJ

Everton and Bolton Wanderers are the two main rivals for the signature of Wigan Athletic target Andy Johnson from Crystal Palace.

Latics manager Paul Jewell started the ball rolling with a 5 million bid, but Sam Allardyce and David Moyes have both responded with bids of 7 million according to reports.

Wigan are now reported to have made a bid of 6 million plus an unnamed player.
