Wigan Athletic Sweat Other N'Zogbia and Boyce

Wigan Athletic look set to welcome back Emerson Boyce into the squad as they prepare to face Manchester City on Monday in the ESPN televised Premier League clash at Eastlands but it looks like star performer Charles N`Zogbia wont be risked.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez says that Boyce has recovered and is now training again following his back and groin problem that kept him out of the win against Burnley last Saturday, N`Zogbia on the other hand is facing a little longer on the sideline after suffering a hip muscle tear in his last appearance for the Latics against Aston Villa.

N`Zogbia will be missed if he hasn`t recovered but Martinez wont want to risk setting him back further by bringing him in too soon, speaking to the press Martinez said:'For Charlie it seems the game will come a little bit too early but he has improved massively over the last week.

"We will have to reassess him and see when he can be available. But we are hopeful Emmerson Boyce will be fit, he has been training without reaction so we'll continue to monitor his improvement and hopefully he will be available, everyone else is fine and in good spirits.''
