'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wigan Athletic - No Rest For Roberto

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez says that the best way for him to relax this weekend with the Latics having no game is watching other teams in action.

Martinez, well known for being a workaholic is set to take in two Premier League games today (Saturday) and then head down to Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday between Spurs and Wednesdays opponents Portsmouth.

Speaking to the press Martinez said: 'Football is not a job - for someone in my position, it has to be a passion'

'When it's not a job, you don't need days off - and that's how I relax.

'I relax by looking back at the work we've done in the last nine months, and it's very, very encouraging.

'The way I rest is watching games and watching other teams, and this weekend I'm going to watch as many games live as I can.

'It's a great weekend - not just in the Premier League, but around Europe - and we're going to watch as many football matches as we can.

'Tomorrow I'm going to Wembley to watch Portsmouth and Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final.

'Today, we've got a few games lined up in the Premier League, and it's all part of the process of preparing in the best possible way for the last five games of the season.'
