Jose Callejon and Raul Baena Under Latics Scrutiny
Wigan Athletic are attempting to sign two Espanyol players according to Spanish football website Sport Espana
It`s been well documented that the Latics have been showing an interest in young striker Jose Callejon but Martinez has also joined the race for play maker Raul Baena who at 21 is also attracting the interest of Villarreal.
Baena only made his debut back in October but since has clocked up 18 appearances and put in some fantatstic displays earning rave reviews, unfortunately for the Latics though the young midfield man put pen to paper on a four year extension just weeks ago and would now cost around £3 million.
sport.es.com are reporting that there are discussions ongoing between the Latics and Espanyol but any deal is as much dependent on Premier League survival as on fees being agreed.
