Wigan Athletic defenders Mario Melchiot and Titus Bramble were over the moon at the fantastic comeback and win against Premier League title contenders Arsenal today at the DW Stadium in the live televised lunch time game.
Club captain Melchiot put the win down to the words of Latics boss Roberto Martinez at half time in the game when he told the players he had faith in them to find a result and Bramble says that the result shows the commitment in the Latics camp
Latics skipper Mario Melchiot:
'At half-time the gaffer said, 'keep going guys, I believe in you and you can do it', and that made a difference'
'It's a very big win.
'It's going to make a lot of difference to the morale of the team and those who come and see us.'
Latics defender Titus Bramble:
"It shows what great commitment we have.'
'We've got a massive game next week and we celebrate today, but we've got to prepare for next week.'
