Ben Watson Man of the Match Against Arsenal

Wigan Athletic midfield man Ben Watson has been voted the Latics man of the match in Sundays win over Arsenal in the Premier League at the DW Stadium.

Watson made his first Premier League start of the season and had a storming game, he scored Latics opening goal on 80 minutes then had a header cleared off the line.

A fantastic performance from the 24 year old who surely will keep his place in the starting eleven for this weekends game at West Ham.

For the record the voting was:

Ben Watson - 32%
Charles N`Zogbia - 25%
Momo Diame - 20%

The new poll is available for you to vote in on the right side of this page and its asking the question who do you want to go down with Pompey?

I am taking it that it is a straight battle between Hull and West Ham, both of whom the Latics face before the end of the season, to vote access the poll, select your option then hit the submit button, its that simple.

Great game from Watson

Surely after that fantastic game you're safe now, and scoring 3 goals against Arsenal will give your attack much needed confidence. I'm glad you're staying up, I enjoy watching Wigan, you play the right way and I think a club should never be punished for that. Keep it up boys. "Wigan in the Premiership - live the dream", you'll be living it for a while yet fellas. Good luck from vitalspurs!
