Vote For Your Latics Man of the Match

Wigan Athletic got undone yesterday by some sloppy defending and a super strike otherwise realistically we could and should have been celebrating another win after quite a good display at Upton Park.

The team as a whole played well, Ben Watson continued in midfield and his set piece deliveries have improved an area of our game that we have been lacking all season, indeed from his first corner of the game we found ourselves in front when Watson simply put the ball into the danger area.

Watson`s midfield partner James McCarthy though won the accolade of man of the match in my opinion, I thought he had a very good game; he hit a great strike that West Ham keeper Robert Green just managed to tip onto the bar otherwise that would have been 2-0 to the Latics and probably game over.

His overall contribution was very good and he is who I have chosen as my man of the match, who is yours?
