Another Colombian Hitman Connected to the Latics

Another Colombian Hitman Connected to the Latics

Wigan Athletic have supporters from all over the world, it`s a sign of the pulling power of the English Premier League that the club can attract fans from as far a field as Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and of course the Americas.

It is from the Americas, Colombia to be exact that the latest Latics fan from far away as been brought to my attention, Gustavo a 24 year old male from the Colombian city of Medellin, the same city that Latics striker Hugo Rodallega was born, Gustavo says he is a Wigan Athletic supporter because of the connection.

Speaking to Ioan Grillo of the Telegraph Gustavo says: 'I support Wigan because they have Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega`

Grillo`s article for the Telegraph describes Gustavo has a polite young man who lives in a tidy flat in a middle-class neighbourhood and says that the young Colombian dreams of being a police officer.

Well that would take some doing because Gustavo is in fact a sicario

Sicario is what we would call a hit man and Gustavo, according to the report works for the one of the drug cartels in Medellin earning a basic salary of £350 a month plus bonuses!

Quite an interesting read and shows the diversity of the people who follow our great club

He's a drug assassin. i.e. he kills people for drug dealers. It's kind of serious because a member of Colombia's WC '94 squad was killed I think because thye lost a game. I migt be remembering wrong though.
