Paul Scharner To Say Goodbye With A Thanx

Wigan Athletic man Paul Scharner is saying 'thanx` literally to the supporters at the DW Stadium this afternoon when he will appear for the last time at the ground as a Latics player in the game against Hull City.

The Austria international is out of contract at the end of the season and it is no secret that he will be moving on to pastures new, so in typical Scharner fashion he has decided to say thank you for the support over the past 4 years to the fans who are a big part of his heart.

Scharner has had the word thanx dyed into the back of his hair in blue letters and he will be doing a lap of the ground at the end of the game to show his appreciation to the home supporters who have made the madcap Austrian one of their own.
