What a stunning win for Chelsea but a heart-wrenching end for the faithful Latics supporters. The game was over as a contest at 2-0. I really thought we were going to be done by 9 goals again. 8 still leaves a really bitter taste in the mouth, though. What will be interesting is how Whelan and in particular, Martinez respond to this. It was interesting that there was no post-match reaction. Probably too embarrassed, most notably when the players at the final whistle made a hasty getaway. I would've done too. Simply shocking display from Wigan, but all the congratulations in the world to Chelsea.
