Wigan Athletic Close to New Striker Signing

Reports from Spain are suggesting that Wigan Athletic are close to sealing a deal for striker Adrian Colunga who is currently on loan at Real Zaragoza from Recreativo de Huelva and he has enjoyed a good season scoring 6 goals in 15 games.

The fee required to capture the 25 year old is reputed to be around 6 million euro`s and Colunga is regarded as a good prospect with lots of pace and technical ability.

Colunga joined Zaragoza in January on a six month loan deal as a direct replacement for veteran striker Roberto Ayala
