Latics Recieve N'Zogbia Bid

Wigan Athletic have had an 8 million bid submitted by Birmingham City for Latics player of the season Charles N`Zogbia according to the Birmingham Mail.

Blues boss Alex McLeish appears to have tabled the bid in an effort to force the hand of Latics chairman Dave Whelan by unsettling N`Zogbia who earlier this year said that he would not dismiss a move to St. Andrews.

Whelan though values the 23 year old much higher than this and has been quoted as saying it will take somewhere between 10 and 15 million before the club will allow the Frenchman to move on.

With Arsenal and Aston Villa also reportedly showing an interest in the talented N`Zogbia it would be wise for little Charlie to hang on a while to consider his options.

Would be better staying where he is

Charlie's worth more than that he's proven it this season, and why would he go their when Arsenal are reported to be interested. Mcleish being a bit ambitious.

Hope we don't accept and if we do hope Charlie isn't interested. He should know that bigger clubs will probably be in for him if he shows a little patience. Besides, we should be able to do a little better than 8 mil.

As if we're going to sell him for 1.5 million more than we bought him.
