Ash Cloud Stops Cywka Leaving Wigan Athletic

Ash Cloud Stops Cywka Leaving Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic striker Tomasz Cywka was unable to keep an appointment with Derby County manager Nigel Clough to discuss his proposed permanent switch from the DW Stadium to Pride Park due to the Icelandic volcanic ash problems that are currently affecting air travel

The young Pole was back home and stranded this week as UK air space is suffering from the choking ash cloud but Clough is still determined to get his man and is hopeful of getting the deal done later this week, Clough said: "Tomasz is due to come over for a chat this week but he has been delayed due to the ash problems"

"But, hopefully, we might still have some positive news on him."

If he was at another club like Watson and McCarthy Martinex would buy him. He cant see what a young gem he has. I dont think he has been given the opportunity his talent deserves.
