Wigan Athletic - Pollitt Stays On
Wigan Athletic have agreed a deal with veteran shot stopper Mike Pollitt to keep him at the DW Stadium for at least one more year.
Latics longest serving player now entering his 5th season with the club is a big character around the dressing room and training pitch and boss Roberto Martinez is said to be delighted to have Polly on board for another year.

Heard he was close to failing his medical due to the fact he had a bad back after the Chelsea game ;)

To me he's had a good run at the club, but in my opinion he should not be given a new contract as a goalkeeper. He simply isn't good enough. Way past the sell by date too.
