Latics Linked To Real Madrid Goalkeeper
Wigan Athletic are chasing Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan as Latics boss Roberto Martinez looks for some quality cover for Chris Kirkland after allowing Richard Kingson to leave the club and not following up on an option to sign Vladimir Stojkovic after his unconvincing stint at the DW Stadium.
Martinez wants to bring the keeper in on a year long loan spell and considering that 23 year old Adan is 3rd choice at Real Madrid new boss Jose Mourinho just might be willing to let him get some experience and the deal could work well for all parties concerned

I don't think our contracts are up until June 30th that's probably why Scharner, Melchiot etc haven't been announced yet.
