Wigan Cosmos Needs You

Vital Latics are proud to support local amateur football so when I was contacted by Dave Eccles, who is a lifelong Latics fan, asking if we could run an article promoting his club Wigan Cosmos I had no hesitation in agreeing, over to you Dave:

Amateur footballers - We need YOU!

Founded in 2004 Wigan Cosmos are a fast growing football team looking for new players for the start of the new season. After just securing a brand new football ground at Edge Green Street, Ashton Town with fantastic facilities, Wigan Cosmos is the best place to be for amateur footballers in Wigan!

The Cosmos are a FA Charter Standard Club currently in Division One of the South Lancashire Counties League and are looking to push for promotion this season to the Premier League (not the real one of course!)

Wigan Cosmos are currently undergoing a rejuvenation period and players are urgently needed with upcoming friendlies pencilled in for August, with the Club currently training on Sundays.

Interested in playing for a team that offers great playing and training facilities? Interested in getting out of bed on a Sunday morning with a purpose?

Cosmos NEEDS you! So what are you waiting for? Come down and train with us this week!
