Latics Linked With Pompey's Lenny Sowah

Latics Lose in Masters Final

Wigan Athletic are being linked with a move for Portsmouth`s highly rated 17 year old full back Lenny Sowah who according to the Daily Mail has not returned to training following a dispute over bonuses.

Pompey fans regard the Germany under 18 international as a real prospect and apparently so does Latics boss Roberto Martinez who is thought to have been impressed by the youngster during his five first team appearances for Portsmouth last season.

The young left back would cost around 500,000 in compensation should the Latics attempt to sign him.

WOuld be good :)

We think he is a good prospect but you have to wonder about a 17 year old who instigated a contract dispute instead of playing and training. Doesn't bode well for attitude.
