'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Bose Is Back In Town

Wigan Athletic were back in training today as they prepare for the new season and the first Premier League game away at Blackpool on August 14th, of course the weary stars of the World Cup tournament weren`t there, they have an extra couple of weeks, but new signing Mauro Boselli was.

The Argentina international was meeting the majority of the Latics squad for the first time today and an enthusiastic Boselli says he really enjoyed the session and cant wait for the next one.

Speaking to the clubs official website the 25 year old striker says this is what he`s been itching to do, get started, Boselli said: 'I've been waiting to get my boots on and start playing ever since I signed and to get out there today with my new team-mates was fantastic.

'They all made me feel very welcome and Graeme (Jones) took us through a good session.

'There is plenty of work to be done to make sure we're fit and ready for the start of the season, but after today's session I can't wait for the next one!'

Hopefully he'll be able to take No 10 before the summer is through...!

Seems enthusiastic. It's a very good thing, that. I saw him play in person when Barcelona played Estudiantes at the national stadium in Abu Dhabi in the Club World Championship Final last year. Scored against them, in case you didn't know. :)

Did he look good in Dubai and do you think he will be a good addition for us?
worbo
He's scored fifty goals in the last two seasons, apparently, and against Barcelona he was running all day, and he scored the header after getting ahead of Pique, which is no easy feat. He's an Argentine international as well, so yes, I think he'll be a very good signing for you.

Nice one
