Stoke to Offer £7 million Plus Beattie For Hugo

The Sun report that Stoke City are set to offer £7 million plus James Beattie for Wigan Athletic striker Hugo Rodallega.

Rodallega was the Latics leading goal scorer last season mainly playing wide left and he scored quite a few important goals such as the ones in the 1-0 wins over both Liverpool and Burnley.

Beattie has had disciplinary problems at Stoke and had a public fall out with boss Tony Pulis last Christmas over the players party plus at 32 he doesn`t exactly fit in with Latics manager Roberto Martinez` policy on bringing young players to the club

Cant see this one happening

Be surprised if we accepted this offer, mind you was surprised with the Bramble fee

We need to sort our defence out first but Beattie wouldn't be a bad option. Rather keep Rodders, mind.
