Latics Fans Like The New Home Strip

Latics Fans Like The New Home Strip

50% of Wigan Athletic supporters say that they like the new home kit with 13% still undecided according to our latest poll on Vital Latics.

The new strip, manufactured by MiFit has moved away from the stripes of recent seasons to a single white stripe down the left side of a blue shirt, I must admit though the more that I have seen it the more that it grows on me

The result of the poll was:
Do you like the new kit?

Yes - 50%
No - 37%
Undecided - 13%

The new poll, which is available on the right side of this page, is asking was the club right to sell Titus Bramble?

The big defender had become something of a folk hero at the Latics, fans player of the season two years ago, players player of the season this time around, Mr 100% and most supporters choice to take over the club captaincy role with Mario Melchiots departure.

Is Bramble the quality defender that we claim him to be though, after all we did ship an awful lot of goals last season and the main constant of our defence was Titus who played in 35 league games for the Latics in season 2009/10

Some have said the problem is the fee not the fact that he has gone, well if you believe everything you read in the press, more likely that Bramble went for three times what Bruce is spouting just to appease the fast growing restless Sunderland fans, so financialy not a bad deal for a player in the last year of his contract.

Anyway though I was very sad to see Titus go I can understand the reasons why he has gone from the clubs point of view though personally I would have wanted him to stay, but what is your view, let us know by access the poll, selecting your option and then hitting the submit button, its that easy.

The changes to the new kit are quite bold. It's growing on me by the day too. I think it's a good reflection of how we have a much changed team for the new season. I think we where right to let Titus go if it was what he wanted. We should have hung on longer and pushed for a better fee though. We should have the cover we need. I just hope we have the quality. Onwards and upwards for the new season.
