Wigan Athletic Fans Excited Ahead of New Season

Wigan Athletic supporters simply cannot wait for the season to get started, they are that excited about Roberto Martinez` side, or at least that was the result of our last poll on Vital Latics.

With some quality additions to the squad over the summer the fans have had their appetites whetted, a brand new striker in Mauro Boselli is firing in the goals preseason and this bodes well for the real thing.

From front to back there has been extra quality brought in with James McArthur, Ronnie Stam and Antolin Alcaraz joining the club to give Martinez more options for his first eleven.

So how did the poll finish:

Are You Excited About The New Season?
Absolutely, cant wait, it'll be fantastic - 69%
A little, cant be worse than the last one - 8%
Dont know yet - 2%
No, after last season I am nervous - 10%
Not at all, we're going down - 11%

The new poll is now available on the right side of this page and its asking who is the Latics best signing of the close season?

The major new signings this summer have been goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi, defenders Ronnie Stam and Antolin Alcaraz, midfielder James McArthur and striker Mauro Boselli. I`m always excited about new forwards coming to the club, for me the front line is the business end of the team and if you can get a quality striker well half the battle is won.

Who in your opinion is the best signing so far, to vote simply access the poll, select your option and then hit the submit button, its that easy.
