Momo Diame Man of the Match v Zaragoza

Momo Diame Man of the Match v Zaragoza

Wigan Athletic midfield man Momo Diame won the accolades from Vital Wigan poll voters with the 23 year old coming out top as the Latics man of the match in Wednesday nights friendly against Real Zaragoza with a solid display.

Diame was full of running and hungry for the ball all night and he supported both the defence and attack in what was a good work out despite the deficit of the 3-1 score line.

For the record the poll result was:

Momo Diame - 56%
Ben Watson - 9%
Antolin Alcaraz - 7%

The new poll is now available and can be accessed on the right side of this page and the topic for the new poll has been suggested by Vital Wigan member Sean Lynch who wants to know what position do we feel the Latics will finish the season in?

Following on from last seasons fright it would be good for some mid-table mediocrity and thats where I think we will finish this time round, I am going for 12th and I will be very happy with that, but what do you think?

Access the poll, select your option and then hit the submit button, its that simple.

Think we may peak in the top 10 but eventually finish 17th - 14th... Or should that be 14th - 17th. Just being realistic. I think we have the squad that is capable but bobby still has a little way to go yet. To elaborate what I mean. Last season when he kept saying we are learning with each game what he actually meant is that he is learning not just the team. He is pushing in the right direction though. Overall should be an improvement on last season.
