Scotland Set For Permanent Ipswich Move
Sky Sports are reporting that Wigan Athletic striker Jason Scotland is all set for a permanent switch to Championship club Ipswich Town with a fee, thought to be in the region of £1 million agreed between the two clubs.
Towards the end of last week it was apparent that something was afoot with Scotland and Ipswich and there was talk of a loan deal, that now appears to have moved to the side and the 31 year old Trinidad and Tobago international is set to commit his long term future to the Suffolk club with a permanent move.
Although Scotland struggled to score in the Premier League for the Latics finding the back of the net on just the solitary occasion, he was prolific in the Championship for Swansea and Ipswich manager Roy Keene has identified the big man has an ideal solution in his quest for a striker to convert the many chances his side make.
