Latics Drawn Away At Hartlepool in Carling Cup


Wigan Athletic have been drawn to face Hartlepool United at the Victoria Ground in the second round of the Carling Cup after League 1 side beat Sheffield United 2-0 in the first round.

The game will be played the week beginning the 23rd August and hopefully the Latics will turn up for this one following the shambles of last seasons efforts in the same competition when Roberto`s boys were dumped out at this stage by Blackpool 4-1
