'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Martinez Speaks About N'Zogbia

Wigan Athletic want away player Charles N`Zogbia was missing from the Latics line-up today and in his absence his team mates crashed to a heavy defeat losing 4-0 at home to newly promoted Blackpool.

It is rumoured that the France international handed a transfer request into the club following his return from international duty last week and the Daily Mirror also reported that the 23 year old stormed out of a training session yesterday (Friday) with boss Roberto Martinez and other Latics players quite angry with N`Zogbia`s timing on the eve of the new season.

When asked about N`Zogbia after the Blackpool game Martinez didn`t give much away but did say that the squad and team are more important than individuals.

Martinez said: 'We have to resolve the situation internally'

'The squad and the team are more important than any other individuals and it is too early to tell what will happen.'

Why did he pull this crap the night before the season started????

Getting rid is too easy. The fella is getting paid to play for Wigan, just like Milner is at Villa (he's not sulking) and untill someone comes in for N'Zogbia , he should be made to play or lose wages, plus a fine. The man's under contract.

Contracts mean nothing in football I'm afraid. I would put him on the list at 15mil.
Standish mon
he was wigans best player by a long way,but i wouldnt bow down to his selfish demands.no play no pay.
