N'Zogbia Facing Latics Fine

Wigan Athletic player Charles N`Zogbia was missing from action in Saturdays opening Premier League game down at the DW Stadium and though there has been no official word from the Latics bar a stock reply of `the matter will be dealt with internally` from boss Martinez when pressed by the media, there is enough speculation flying about to suggest something is going on.

Both the Mirror and the Sun have run with stories concerning the France internationals position at the Latics with the Sun claiming that N`Zogbia has actually gone on strike and say that there is a meeting set for later today between N`Zogbia, his agent and Latics officials to thrash out the problems.

The Sun claim that N`Zogbia wants to move and that the club aren`t accommodating his desire as he would like with a source saying: 'Charles is desperate to get out of Wigan. He wants a new challenge and feels the club is not being straight with him.'

The Mirror also claim that the 24 year old is unsettled adding that part of the problem is that the Latics failed to sign N`Zogbia`s close friend Sekou Baradji who was on trial at the club recently.

The Mirror says that N`Zogbia is set to be fined £70,000 by the Latics for his discipline breach

Whatever the situation it needs rectifying quickly so has not to impact on the rest of the squad, if he doesn`t want to play then sell him but on our terms not his

He's acusing Wigan of not being straight with him. What a Joke. Does he not understand the meaning of a contract. Wigan had to pay a fee, and pay his wages under that contract. I'd let him rot in the reserves. All this I'm going on strike milarky could well be influenced from Bruce.

QPR v Latics - Big Game Preview

Another massive game for the Latics, QPR are a team that traditionally we don't do too well against, just two wins in 15 encounters, one of those coming in W12 though so we do have previous there even if it was a while ago.

A win tonight would lift us out of the bottom three and put us just three points behind Aston Villa in 17th, the incentive is there, we need to start taking opportunities are there won't be any more left.

It's likely that Warren Joyce will start with the same si
