Gary Caldwell Speaks About His New Role
New Wigan Athletic club captain Gary Caldwell has spoken about the honour and privilege of taking the role of skipper at the Latics.
Caldwell has previously been captain at both Hibernian and Celtic so he understands the responsibility that the position holds both on and off the field.
Speaking about his appointment Caldwell said: "It`s a massive honour for me to have been named Club Captain and a role I`ll take great pride in.
"After my arrival in January it didn`t take me long to realise how special a club this is and how much it means to the fans.
"As usual the rest of the team and I will be giving 100% every day to help push the club forwards."
