Robin's Prediction: Wigan Vs Chelsea

After a terrible result against Blackpool (no disrespect, Blackpool fans), Wigan must now march on and face the awesome might that is Chelsea.

Wigan achieved what nobody thought would ever come, at least if you are a Wigan fan. A win over the top four for the first time. However one year later, I can't see this happening again, though I do think that it might be tighter than what some might think as Wigan will want to erase some poor memories from last year.

With 'The Drog' fit and Frank Lampard too, it will be an awfully difficult afternoon for Roberto Martinez's men and things won't get much easier in weeks to come, either, but things shall get better for the boys in blue and white, but not today.

I am interested to see how Mauro Boselli will perform after his shambolic performance against Blackpool and I'm hoping Charles N'Zogbia will play so the team selection shall be interesting, if anything.

Nevertheless, I see this as a comfortable win for Chelsea but it could be tighter than what some others say.

ROB'S PREDICTION

Wigan 1 Chelsea 2

ROB'S FINAL THOUGHT
===================

I think that this is a bleak period for the Latics, yet I do think that, given time, things will look brighter, but I do believe we need to strengthen some more during the transfer window, if possible and holding onto N'Zogbia would be awesome.

6 - 0 and 20 goals in the last 3 games, thats all i can say.
MR.CHELSEA
6-0 is a bit harsh on you guys... the game was even for half or more of the game
lampardsrightfoot
Well... I'm sure things will get better for the Latics sooner or later.... it was a harsh score but Wigan did what they're good at after conceding goals... capitulating.

Wigan's first half was not bad at all. A big step up I would think. Kirkland made no mistakes, but the efficiency of Chelsea scoring is absolutely awesome at the moment. Just have a break-down and come back, the season is long and much can still happen.

the scoreline flatters chelsea a lot
