Fans Call For Ali Al-Habsi to Start at Spurs

Wigan Athletic supporters want to see goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi start the game tomorrow at Spurs in the place of out of sorts Chris Kirkland, who has struggled so far this season.

The fans have spoken via the last poll right here on Vital Wigan and what a massive shout they have given in favour of the Oman international with a whopping 94% of the voters opting for Al-Habsi to be Latics number one at White Hart Lane

The on loan keeper played his first competitive game for the Latics on Tuesday when he kept a clean sheet in the Carling Cup tie against Hartlepool United, considering Kirkland let in ten goals in the previous two games then Martinez has a big decision to make.

The fans have spoken Bobby

The poll result:

Who should start in goal against Spurs
Ali AL-Habsi - 94%

Chris Kirkland - 3%
