Tom Cleverley to the Latics Back On

Tom Cleverley to the Latics Back On

Wigan Athletic look to be winning the race for Manchester United youngster Tom Cleverley despite rumours to the contrary, with the midfield man pleading with his Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson to allow him to go out on loan for the season.

Cleverley was all set to join the Latics a few weeks ago only for Ferguson to decide that he wanted to use the 21 year old sporadically throughout the coming campaign but following pleas from his young charge Ferguson has had a change of heart.

The under 21 international wants some regular first team Premier League action and has a clear choice of Bolton, Newcastle or the Latics but it is being reported that spending the year at the DW Stadium appeals to the youngster and Roberto Martinez is set to hand over £500,000 in a loan fee to United.

I think it's too much - to pay half a million for a 9 months. This is good for MU too because of PL expierence of TC.
