Antolin Alcaraz and Paraguay Lose to Japan

There were more Latics players in international action yesterday

Wigan Athletic defender Antolin Alcaraz took his place in the back four for Paraguay yesterday but unfortunately the South Americans went down 1-0 in a friendly to Japan, who they had knocked out of the World Cup back in July, so I suppose a bit of revenge for the men in blue. Alcaraz is wearing number 3

The Ivory Coast beat Rwanda 2-0 but Steve Gohouri didn`t feature in the game, Maynor Figueroa featured for Honduras has they drew 2-2 with El Salvador in Los Angeles but Los Catrachos went on to win a penalty shoot out 5-3 in this friendly game between the two neighbours.
