Vital Wigan Fantasy Football Table - Week 4

Vital Wigan Fantasy Football Table - Week 4

Vital Wigan fantasy football league shows a few changes as we head into the next round of games, a new leader takes top spot and a familiar face is bottom of the pile.

The new leader of the pack is Paula Hargrave and the sweetly named Ashton Vanilla, Paula has guided her side up the table from 7th spot to take over from Lee Armstrong at the top and it looks like there could be a battle developing between these two

Down at the bottom Ian Bradley is struggling to find the formula with his Martinez Magics side who look like they are set for a spell of trouble unless Ian can pull something out of the hat.

Ian Grands side 'The PiesThe Limit` are looking a bit stale in 27th whilst David Clarkson and Barbie FC are plastic, yet fantastic in 35th spot...`come on Barbie lets go party`...fantastic lyrics.

Team of the week are David Nicol and his nicols latics who have amassed 19 points and climbed off the bottom of the table up to 64th spot, well done, I think.

Until next time

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
