Franco Di Santo Voted Man of the Match

In the last poll on Vital, Wigan Athletic striker Franco Di Santo has been voted the Latics man of the match in Sundays Premier League defeat to Manchester City.

The young Argentinean made his first start of the season and he came into the side in place of his fellow country man Mauro Boselli who dropped to the bench.

Di Santo has an excellent work-rate, good technical ability and he plays with a passion that others in the team would do well to emulate.

For the record the voting was:

Franco Di Santo - 41%
Ali Al-Habsi - 19%
Hendry Thomas - 16%

The new poll is now available on the right side of this page

Just hope he can get a goal before he goes the way of our 'other' strikers of recent times

I hope he succeeds at Wigan. He's a good striker, just needs confidence.
