What The Bosses Say - Brum v Latics

Ahead of the Birmingham City v Wigan Athletic Premier League clash at St. Andrews both managers have been speaking to the press, lets take a look at what they said:

Latics boss Roberto Martinez :

"They (Birmingham) have found a very strong way in which to work for each other and they don`t give many things away

"You need to work very hard when you play against Birmingham to get things your way and its going to be the same on Saturday.

"They are a group of players that are experienced and make it difficult for you to break them down"

"I don`t think the atmosphere will be to kind to Charles (N`Zogbia) or any of our players but I am sure that they will rise to that atmosphere"

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish :

'You know what fans are like. They are within their rights to do a lot of things. A fan will support his team and, if it means giving someone the bird, then he or she will do that.

'I hope our fans give everyone a hostile reception in the Wigan team, not just Charles.

'It is just part of the game and footballers have to take it on the chin and get on with it. Charles came and went. He had a chance to come and we just never got the deal done.

'It is brushed under the carpet and we move forward. I want to draw a line under it. It's over. We've moved on. I'm philosophical. I've lost a few deals in the past but you have to move quickly forward.'

I hope they're screaming obscenities at us at the final whistle because we have beaten them

Did he really say, He hope the fans give Wigan a hostile reception, what ever happened to honourable sportsmanship. I am going tomorrow and can't wait.
