Ali Al-Habsi Loving Latics Family Life

Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi is delighted to have kept another clean sheet at Birmingham on Saturday, that`s three out of the five games he`s played this season and the on loan shot stopper admits that he is loving life at the Latics.

Speaking to Wigan Athletic Player the Oman international said that he is growing in confidence each week and says that`s down to the gaffer, the backroom staff and the rest of the players, Al-Habsi likens the Latics to a big family and he really does give a glowing report of life at the DW Stadium.

Brought in from local neighbours and Premier League rivals Bolton Wanderers during the summer the big guy has been nothing short of a revelation since he was given his chance against Hartlepool in the Carling Cup, ever present in the starting line-up since, Al-Habsi is proving a lot more than just cover for Chris Kirkland and it is going to take something drastic for Kirkland to get his place back.

It appears that the Latics family life really does suit Ali.
