Antolin Alcaraz - Latics Man of the Match v Brum

Antolin Alcaraz - Latics Man of the Match v Brum

Wigan Athletic defender Antolin Alcaraz has been voted the Latics man of the match for his performance in last weekends 0-0 draw away at St. Andrews when he skippered the side to achieving a great point against Birmingham.

The majority of voters in our poll obviously agreed with my assessment of the Paraguay international who put in an assured display marshalling the back four and keeping Jerome, Zigic and Phillips at bay

For the record the poll result was:

Antolin Alcaraz - 39%
Ali Al-Habsi - 22%
Charles N`Zogbia - 18%

The new poll is available on the right side of this page and is simple to participate in, just access the poll, select your option and the hit the submit button, it`s that easy.
