James McCarthy - Man of the Match v Wolves

Wigan Athletic player James McCarthy has been voted Latics man of the match in last weeks Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers

The young midfield man put in a great shift from start to finish and his game took him from box to box as he dominated the midfield and stamped his authority on the match.

A great display from McCarthy and worthy of the man of the match accolade.

For the record the voting was:

James McCarthy - 32%
Jordi Gomes - 21%
Franco Di Santo - 9%

Both Di Santo and McCarthy showed desire and energy - they played for the team. More of the same lads!
