Swans Set For Northern Migration

Swans Set For Northern Migration

Swansea City have had a fantastic response from supporters to being drawn against Wigan Athletic in the Carling Cup, the Welsh club have sold over 3,500 tickets for the game at the DW Stadium, their fans simply can`t wait to see what the Premier League is all about.

The pulling power of playing against one of the country`s giants has really whet the appetite of the Swans supporters and next Tuesday a mass exodus will see them make the trek up north for what promises to be a fantastic evening`s entertainment.

So Wiganers can we take up the challenge?

Latics fans really need to respond to the offers that are on for this game and get themselves down to the stadium to get behind the lads in what is a serious chance of progressing to the ¼ final of the competition.

It`s half term so the kids are off school, prices are ridiculously cheap - £10 adults and £5 concessions and there is a buy one get one free offer on too.

Let`s get behind the team and make the players proud of the support they get from us.

I will be there. Hope the public take the bait on this one. We will need it. Should be a good match.

If the tickets were full price we`d still have sold over 3500,we only want to see the Swans have one over on Mr Loyalty,`Judas Martinez`and moneybags Whelan.

you might be right that you want to get one over on Bobby, but 3.5K at full price , don't think so. Not many clubs take 3.5K people up the country on a work night at full price. the discount has done it's job !

How much do you think a 500 mile round trip costs ?,a damn sight more than a full price ticket! The cheap ticket price is not the draw to come to Wigan.I dont think you realise the contempt that many thousands of Swans fans have for `Bobby`as you call him,he`s not looked upon very kindly in this part of the world any more after the way he left us and took all the back room staff and two of our best players.

nothing to do with price or your tiny tiny club, it's all about Martinez, our traveling support has been fantastic for years
