Victor Moses Man of the Match v Swansea

Victor Moses has been voted the Vital Latics, Wigan Athletic man of the match for his performance in Tuesday nights Carling Cup win over Swansea City at the DW Stadium.

Moses made his first start for the Latics since the opening game of the season in the defeat to Blackpool in which he suffered an injury, he looked hungry from the off playing wide left and made some excellent charges down the line.

Moses` pace and power caused problems for the Swansea defence and he looked determined to take his chance with a solid performance full of effort and energy.

For the record the voting was:

Victor Moses - 36%
Jordi Gomez - 16%
Hendry Thomas - 16%

The new poll is available to vote in and it is featured on the right side of this page, to participate simply access the poll, select your preferred option and then hit the submit button, it`s that easy.

Antolin Alcaraz for me, Moses, at the moment, loses the ball too cheaply in danger areas putting us on the back foot. He will have to step up to the plate when Charlie exits in Jan
