Roberto Martinez Looks Forward To Blackburn

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has spoken about Saturdays local derby against Blackburn Rovers, the gaffer says that the Rovers are a strong set and that we will need to match them.

The boss identified set pieces as an area of threat and said that we will need to be ready for that.

Speaking to Latics Player Martinez said: "The mood in the camp is very good and we know that we are facing a big challenge against Blackburn

"They are playing with great confidence and are really, really strong and know how to use dead ball situations really well and we need to be ready for that"

"We will have to make sure we can impose ourselves and play our football and be the team that we can be.

"We will have to match Blackburn Rovers in their strength and physicality, it is a very intimidating environment at Ewood Park"

"When you look at the points that both teams have at the moment you can see that it is a very important game and we need to make sure that we are ready for it"

Looking at the league table, this is, if not a "must-win", at the very least a "mustn't lose".
