Wigan Athletic Early Team News

Emmerson Boyce hasn`t recovered from his hamstring injury and looks set to be sidelined not only for Saturdays trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn but also for the games against Liverpool on Wednesday and at home to West Brom next weekend.

James McCarthy was dealt a blow this week when he underwent surgery on his damaged ankle ligaments and the young Scot will possibly be out until February.

On the positive side Steve Gohouri is 100% fit and will be pushing Ronnie Stam for the right back spot with Gary Caldwell looking set to continue in the centre of defence alongside Antolin Alcaraz.

Latics from - Al Habsi, G Caldwell, Stam, Figueroa, Alcaraz, N'Zogbia, Diame, Moses, Cleverley, Thomas, Rodallega, Di Santo, Gomez, Gohouri, Watson, Boselli, S Caldwell, McArthur, Golobart, Kirkland.
