Lawro Predicts - Latics v West Brom

Former Liverpool defender and current Match of the Day pundit Mark 'Lawro` Lawrenson has done his weekly round of predictions for the BBC and he is predicting that Saturday`s Premier League game between Wigan Athletic and West Bromwich Albion at DW Stadium will end in a home win for the Latics, let`s see what his reasons are:

Wigan v West Brom

Wigan had a good result against Liverpool which would have given them a lot of confidence, and I thought they were unlucky against Blackburn at the weekend. I expect this game to be quite tight, but I think Wigan have got the edge.

West Brom made a good start but they are just going through a bit of an inconsistent patch. They just have to keep going though and I think they'll be fine this season.

Prediction: 2-1

I agree with Lawro both on the result, the score-line and the reasons behind it, amazing, idiots think alike! 2-1 Latics win for me also.

2-1 close game, looking forward to seeing Scharner back also

Latics can never string two performances together, so I'm going for 0-1, although obviously I would love a nice 3 or 4-0 in our favour.
