Latics and Spurs Battle for Javi Marquez
Wigan Athletic have once again got their eye on La Liga in the search for new talent with Espanyols midfield man Javi Marquez under focus.
The 24 year old has returned to action from a broken leg suffered last March and been Espanyols most influential player this season with a string of good performances.
Spurs are also interested in Marquez, an interest which goes back to last season and according to reports there`s been a bid of around £4 million submitted to Espanyol but no confirmation whether that bid comes from North London or the Latics.
