Cho Won-Hee Set For Latics Return

Wigan Athletic forgotten man Cho Won-Hee will be returning to the club in little over 5 weeks time when his year long loan spell with Korean club Suwong Samsung Bluewings comes to an end.

The South Korea international midfield man was signed by former boss Steve Bruce following a trial period that he impressed not only Bruce but also the rest of the first team squad with his technical ability, motivation and fitness levels.

Unfortunately for Cho it never really took off for him at the Latics and after just one start and four substitute appearances current boss Roberto Martinez allowed him to go on loan to his previous club back in his home land.

Following a successful year for Cho, he has been skippering Suwong Samsung Bluewings and they are currently 7th in the South Korean top division, Martinez might be pleasantly surprised to have a player re-joining his squad that can give him a different option than what he currently has in his side.

When Cho left for his loan spell back in January Martinez wished him well but also said he wanted him back, Martinez said at the time: 'Cho has been a good professional for us

'We hope he performs well while he is away and look forward to welcoming him back this time next year.'
